Original compositions inspired by ethnic Scandinavian tradition and the ancient national epic, Eddan, are delivered in a fresh setting by three sisters from the Aland Islands. The songs, instrumentation and musical expression have a strong connection to the pre-christian era of this idyllic territory in the middle of the Baltic Sea. Among the originals are traditional folk songs creatively arranged by this trio with subtle influences from Eastern European and Asian contemporary world music.
